We create illustration systems, not one-off pieces. A system means a consistent style, a set of recurring characters or visual motifs, a defined colour relationship and rules for how the illustration lives alongside your typography and photography. Systems scale; one-offs do not.
Art direction for photography is also part of our practice. If you have shoots planned and need a point of view beyond the photographer's default, we provide creative direction: reference decks, set direction and brief, and review of selects before delivery.
